week 1 – 2 : finishing a piece for an exhibition

in order to finish a painting + installation in space for an upcoming exhibition, I decided to make it smaller in size. I lost a week to being sick and I think I will be more happy with my results when I scale down. so I reduced the painting’s size from 120×150 to 90×120 cm. I now have much less blank/green space to worry about and will be able to fill the space in front of the painting with the pearls more easily. the polished stone pearls add the reflective quality I like in water, I would like to find something that has more merging with the background potential though.
