week 1 : thoughts on my studio wall

putting together my part of the miro studio wall made me think about my color palette, in that it is quite limited but still ends up looking colorful. and whether that is something I like or not. it is certainly something I find happening to me everywhere where it is about choosing colors over a longer period of time (fashion, interiors, gardening). but it also happens to me that I look at the results and wonder how all that color has found its way in and that I would like it to be more of an analogue palette. many of my paintings have an analogue palette within themselves, but putting several of them together makes me struggle sometimes. I could try sticking to one analogue palette for several paintings at a time, but I’m not overly excited by that idea. I think I need to make a decision on color.

second, I realized that bringing my paintings outside could be even more fun with the expansion in space that I am working on currently. I want to find a suitable space outdoor where I can hang some of the installation pieces in a natural setting.
