Hi there, I'm Sonja, a Munich-based abstract painter.
My work is rooted in moments from nature, and in our experience of space as we move through it.

My paintings explore the sensory and emotional language of the natural world — the way light shifts through trees, how a passing cloud can change a mood, and how memory and place intertwine. Inspired by field sketches, photography, and gathered textures like moss, bark, and stone, each work is built from close observation of nature. An invitation to look, feel, and rest.
